StripeCo of Texas has been serving all areas of our great state for more than 15 years, making parking lots and other paved surfaces easier for drivers and pedestrians alike to navigate.
Parking lot striping can help drivers safely and easily park their cars. If you have a current set of striping in place, it may need to be restriped, which usually needs to be done every one to two years, depending on weather conditions and usage. We can come out and assess the condition of your striping and let you know whether it is time to do it again. If you want something completely different for your parking lot, though, we can take care of that for you. Perhaps you have expanded your parking lot and need more spaces. Or maybe the original configuration did not maximize your space. Regardless of the reason, we can design and then stripe your parking lot for you.
Asphalt striping, too, can help guide drivers. In addition to creating parking spaces, we can also make directional arrows, stop lines and other guidance signs to keep confusion in your parking lot to a minimum.
Pavement striping can take care of more than just parking lots. Outdoor basketball courts, for instance, need foul and other lines painted on them so that players know where their marks are. Signage can be painted on to sidewalks, as well, giving pedestrians guidance as to where to go, especially in places where lines of people are likely to form, such as fairgrounds or amusement parks.
Parking lot marking also can be useful for drivers and pedestrians. In addition to parking space designations, we can also make sure that your fire lane and no-parking areas comply with your fire department’s regulations to ensure safety.
Handicapped spaces also require you to follow specific guidelines. The number of handicapped spaces you will need is determined by the total number of spaces in your lot. They also must be a certain size and in specific locations relative to your building. Leave it to us to make sure you are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Should you opt to have us design a whole new parking lot layout, there are several things you will need to decide on. When your customers park, do you want them to park at an angle, or do you want them to pull into a spot that is straight? What about the space between the cars? A single line will leave less room but will allow you to have more parking spaces in your designated parking area; on the other hand, some companies decide to put double lines, which gives about a foot on either side of the space and therefore giving customers more room to get into and out of their cars, but this of course takes up more room and thus means fewer parking spaces available.
Do you have a need for loading zones and/or pedestrian crosswalks? Those are another way we can help ensure your customers’ safety.
Your parking lot is basically what creates the first impression for your customers when they pull in. Therefore, you want it to be easy to use and have everything clearly marked and designed. Our professional experience and equipment means that you will have a parking area that your customer will find easy to get around in.
